James Davis has painted the Scottish landscape for many years and his love for it and wonder at its drama seem undiminished.

Davis has been the recipient of many art awards for his contemporary paintings. These include: David Cargill Award; RGI in 2003; Reid Kerr Painting Award and PAI in 2005. James Davis has also established a strong following with leading private and corporate art collectors of contemporary Scottish art.
