classic Canaletto works of St Mark’s Square, Venice. On the fireplace sits a glass of wine, fruits of your labours.
The scene of the Piano, Sniffy, cat and other objects are constructed as a contemporary art assemblage. The jelly on the Piano gives the name to the painting ’Just Deserts’. Sniffy lies inebriated with glass in hand "deserved reward’.
